Events and Projects coming up

Coed Panteg work days - 2nd Saturday of each month starting 14th February 2009.

We have a regular once-a-month work day at Coed Panteg on the 2nd Saturday each month.

We aim to start at around 10.30am (turn up whenever you feel like it) and we're usually there until at least 5.00pm, often later. Hot drinks, some lunch things and biscuits will be provided but please feel free to bring things to share. If the weather is nice we may stay and have a fire in the evening. Some of the things we are proposing to do over the next few months include fencing, building a new shelter, mulching the fruit trees and scrub clearance in the clearing to keep it open. We also need to repair or rebuild the kitchen which has suffered over the winter months! The March work day on the 14th will be spent preparing for the coppicing week (see below).

Please contact us to confirm details and times, as sometimes weather or other unforeseen events cause last minute changes to our plans.

Work Weeks

We currently have no plans for any work weeks apart from Coppicing. This is due to other commitments of some of the Co-op members. There maybe the opportunity to come and stay on some of the weekends in which we have a work day, please contact us if you would like to do this. We hope to be able to return to regular work weeks in the future ~ check the website for up to date info.
